Dear Tribal Leaders and Self-Governance Coordinators,

One of the Self-Governance Goals as a result of this year’s 2009 Tribal Strategy Session is: “how can Tribes efficiently allocate their limited resources when sending Tribal leaders and staff back to the nation’s capitol?” One possible answer brought up by Tribal leaders is - through good communication. 

One centrally located vehicle for this communication could be this web page where Tribes share a brief travel summary of when, who & why they traveled to DC.  The idea being, Tribes could use this information to spend their time back in the nation’s capitol more efficiently by strategically planning who they meet with.

We hope over time this tool will help your Tribe strategically plan trips back to Washington DC.  - And please don’t forget to provide a brief summary of your Trips to DC for other Tribes.  This webpage is a tool here for you, we hope you use it.
