The Department of the Interior Self-Governance Advisory Committee (SGAC) has formed a small workgroup to explore opportunities for a Self-Governance-like Demonstration Project in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Preliminary meetings with EPA have been held and a Draft Discussion White Paper: A Self-Governance Concept for the Environmental Protection Agency was developed and shared at the Annual Tribal Self-Governance Consultation Conference in April 2015 in Reno, Nevada. To assist in advancing this effort, we would like to get additional information on what EPA programs Self-Governance Tribes are currently accessing.
Please take a moment to complete the Self-Governance EPA Program/Funding Profile survey. We understand how busy you are and would like to minimize the time it will take for you to complete this Profile so we’ve created a electronic form to collect this important – easy to understand, simple to complete and just hit submit when done!
Click here to access the survey. The deadline to complete the Survey Monkey is Friday August 28, 2015.
On behalf of the SGAC and the SGAC EPA Workgroup, thank you for taking the time to share your this information with the Workgroup. Request for funding information is optional. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the survey and outreach in further detail, please contact C. Juliet Pittman at firstname.lastname@example.org or (202) 628-1151.
