Reported favorably by the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, S.304 amends the IHCIA to require IHS to cover the cost of a co-payment of an AI/AN Veteran receiving medical care or services from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). SGCETC sent a letter to Senator Thune explaining how this bill violates the trust responsibility to provide health care services to AI/ANs .
