Drawing on the experience in Alaska, the Swinomish Tribe in Washington State has taken a bold stand to declare that it will use DHATs to reduce the oral health disparities in their community. Presenters will provide information on efforts undertaken by the Swinomish Tribe, as well as DHAT pilot projects in Oregon, and the ongoing initiative in Alaska to incorporate DHATs into their system of dental care.
