Impacting Tribal Health Care: How Self-Governance Has Affected Capacity, Services, and Operation Self-Governance Communication & Education is conducting a research project to look at the ways health care has changed since the time a Tribal facility was compacted and transitioned to Tribal Management. The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather data regarding specific changes experienced by Tribal health care facilities. This data includes information such as health care provider vacancy and turnover rates, ways to address the health care needs and challenges within Tribal communities, the changes in services provided to patients, etc.The information gathered from this questionnaire will be used collectively to highlight the success of Self-Governance Tribes in developing their health care systems. The full project report will be released in 2018 during the Annual Tribal Self-Governance Consultation Conference.
