Government to Government Consultations with the Department of Justice on Best Practices for Tribal Risk Management and in the Context of Economic Development

October 29, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm CDT

We are pleased to invite you to government-to-government consultations with the Department of Justice
on best practices for Tribal risk management and in the context of economic development. This
consultation was mandated by Congress in the Fiscal Year 2021 Joint Explanatory Statement that
accompanied the Fiscal Year 2021 appropriations bill. To support our discussion, we will follow up
separately with a framing paper.

Please note that you will be asked to provide your name, Tribal affiliation, and email when registering or
joining the call. We welcome written comments until the close of business on November 12, 2021.
Please submit them via email to OTJ@usdoj.gov.

If you have questions, please contact the Office of Tribal Justice at (202) 514-8812 or OTJ@usdoj.gov.
We hope you will be able to participate in this important government-to-government consultation and
look forward to working with you.
